AI Won't Replace You, But a QA Using AI Will!
Let’s establish some ground rules right now. This book is not a get-rich-quick fairy tale. I am not going to promise that clicking a single button on ChatGPT or GitHub Copilot will let you lounge on a beach sipping coconut water while pulling a six-figure remote US salary.
Real life doesn't come with a movie soundtrack. The reality of 2026 is hyper-fast. When project deadlines are crushing your soul and your manager is breathing down your neck, it becomes painfully obvious that old-school manual testing is a sinking ship.
I currently work as a QA engineer for a global tech firm. My official hours are 9:00 AM to 4:00 PM. After winding down our morning standups and sync meetings (which take about 30 to 60 minutes), it takes me less than 2 hours to execute my entire daily testing routine. The rest of my day? I spend it upskilling, learning new tools, or just enjoying my life.
It wasn't always like this. Exactly two years ago, when I joined the QA field as a completely green fresher without AI, planning and executing tests for just two basic modules would drain my entire day and leave me exhausted.
