There's a few things you need to know about me, first and foremost:

I'm not really an interesting person.
In fact, I'm your average teenage girl. Well, almost.
No, the almost isn't that I have supernatural powers or that I'm a secret government agent.
In fact, it's something that the general public doesn't know about, yet, it's not really something special.
They have help centers for my kind of issue. And hotlines. And there's a law about it.
Drugs? Depression? Suicide? No, no, and no. I'm still not contemplating those yet - I don't consider my life so devastatingly bad.
Then what is it? Well, it involves my home life. I think that's a pretty good hint to you.
But my parents aren't alcoholics or druggies or hippies or anything strange. They're lawyers and they're pretty normal people.
Well, almost. My mother is a bit difficult, but she's not about to be sent off to any mental asylums anytime soon
Still haven't figured it out? Well, I'm an abused child.

I don't know if that necessarily had the effect like a bomb being dropped or a lightbulb going off into your head, but it's not something you hear everyday, unless, you're one of those therapists or on the other side of the hotline. But now you know.
