Part II does not provide implementations, thresholds, or state machines.

This book exists to force mandatory design decisions that arise once time is removed as the operating axis of a system.

Building on the audit in Part I, it identifies design pressures that any event-conditioned system must confront:

state existence, transition constraints, noise versus signal, finite state spaces, no-action states, and error persistence.

The framework does not tell you how to design correctly.

It ensures you cannot design carelessly.

If Part I diagnosed why time-based thinking fails, Part II makes it impossible to continue designing systems without explicitly addressing the consequences.
