
Ang Peng Tiam
Ang Peng Tiam was educated at Anglo-Chinese School and was awarded the President's scholarship to study Medicine at National University of Singapore.
Dr Ang received advanced training in Medical Oncology at MD Anderson Cancer Institute, Houston, Texas, and a fellowship in Oncology at Stanford University Medical Center. In 1991, he was appointed the founding Head of the Department of Medical Oncology at Singapore General Hospital. In 1996, he was awarded Singapore's National Science Award for his outstanding contributions in Medical Research.
Dr Ang is now a Consultant Medical Oncologist at Mount Elizabeth Medical Centre and is active at the Singapore Cancer Society.
