Michael Nyenes
I have been a management consultant for the last 20 years. Firstly dealing with large organisations to assist in the development of quality and associated management systems. In 2002, I started a Manufacturing advisory center in Rustenburg, South Africa.
The Manufacturing Advisory center was later incorporated into the Small Enterprise Development Agency in 2006 and I have been there ever since. In that time I have focused more on start-up enterprises and entrepreneurship. Essentially I have migrated from big business to start-ups enterprises and entrepreneurship.
In the last 5 years I have been part of the Global Cleantech Innovation Program as a mentor. This experience is directly related to startups and early stage ventures who need to de-risk and find their first customers. The book is specific to that activity.
I started my career back in 1980 as an apprentice and worked my way up to the position of Factory manager before being recruited into the consulting field by an ex colleague in 1998
