ABOUT THE AUTHOR  An avid reader, W. Derek Atkins grew up in Denton, Texas, and graduated from BaylorUniversity, where he studied English Literature.  He has lived more than ten years in China, where he taught English to undergraduates, graduates, and businesspeople.  He currently lives in the United States, where he has served as a Pastor.  He and his wife have one son.  Day of Judgment is his first novel.
