Soledad Galli, PhD

Soledad Galli is a data scientist, educator, software developer, and developer advocate with more than a decade of experience in world-class academic institutions and renowned businesses. She has built and deployed machine learning models to assess insurance claims and credit risk, prevent fraud, and solve real-world business problems.

Through her courses on Train in Data and Udemy, Sole has taught more than 70,000 students worldwide. Her courses consistently receive excellent reviews for making complex machine learning concepts clear, practical, and accessible.

Sole is also the creator and maintainer of Feature-engine, an open-source Python library downloaded more than 300,000 times per month, and the author of Packt’s Python Feature Engineering Cookbook.
