Dr. Myo is passionate about empowering youth, teaching, and conducting research that creates impact. She is an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at Bard College at Simon's Rock, USA. Previously, she was a tenure-track faculty member in the Computer Engineering Department at Chiang Mai University, co-founded a company providing data analysis services, and worked as a freelance consultant on educational reform projects. Earlier in her career, she was a research engineer and scientist at A*STAR and earned a Ph.D. in Computer Vision from Kingston University. Originally from Myanmar, she studied in Singapore and London, worked in Singapore, Myanmar, and Bhutan, and is now based in Thailand. She loves books, cycling, and traveling.
