Micah Woods
Micah Woods is Chief Scientist at the Asian Turfgrass Center and an adjunct professor in the Department of Plant Sciences at the University of Tennessee. He grew up in Oregon and studied horticulture at Oregon State University, then worked for three years as a golf course superintendent in China and Japan. From 2001 to 2005, he studied at Cornell University in New York, writing his dissertation about nutrient availability to turfgrass grown in sand root zones. In 2006 he founded the Asian Turfgrass Center and has since been doing research and sharing turfgrass information in more than 20 countries.
