I am a multilingual parent of a diverse family living as a CARNAL (Caucasion African Racial Native American Latinx) in Portland, OR. Born genetically white and black and adopted by parents of Cherokee Nation and African descent, I grew up in Kansas City, MO's Westside, a longstanding Mexican and Chicanx enclave. My hybridity gives me special insight on multicultural convergences and cleavages.

Bio-data diversity extends professionally and educationally. As a private, public, and non-profit executive turned entrepreneur, I am an organizational culture and diversity consultant, facilitator, and speaker. I have a doctorate in adult continuing education, several master degrees in organizational behavior, business management, public administration, and training with a double undergraduate major in human resources/industrial relations and Spanish. 

I am just beginning to write a book at the urging of family, friends, and clients. I tweet extensively and controversially on multicultural organizational development through a critical race theory lens at Larry Howlett@LHowlettODPrism. Publishing is an expansion of my tweets.

I make this literary journey like a road by walking it, only in this case, with actual writing. I am cutting my teeth by doing so, but flossing, with your help, will strengthen mental agility to ward off cognitive plaque build-up for this task. Thanks for reading and hearing my story!
