Eric Matthes is the author of Python Crash Course, the best-selling introductory programming book in the world. He taught high school math and science for many years, and is now a full-time writer and programmer. When he's not working in front of a computer Eric enjoys running, hiking, climbing, and just about anything else outdoors. He lives with his family in southeast Alaska.
