A native New Yorker, I have a Master's and a Ph.D. in Computer Science from NYU and Imperial College, London respectively, with some further study in mathematical finance at City University in London. I have held postdoctoral positions at QUT in Brisbane Australia and at London South Bank University doing research in the area of asynchronous circuit design, and a brief visiting appointment at Caltech. Since leaving academia quite some time ago, I got to thinking it might be an idea to write this book as a spare time project. Fun fact: my Erdos Number is 5.
