David Troidl
I have been a Christian essentially all my life. I grew up in a very devoted family. For over twenty years, I have devoted the majority of my free time to the pursuit of scripture, and a deeper relationship with the Lord. When I was first filled with the Spirit, in February 1991, I developed an insatiable hunger to know what the Word actually said. This led to studies in Greek, and then Hebrew, eventually leading to translating the New Testament, and a first draft of most of the Old. It has become my confirmed belief that it is the words of scripture, and not just the sense of what a passage is saying, that carry the deep meaning of the Word. There are so many interrelationships that span the bible, it is truly amazing.
In everyday life, I am a community college math professor. I have interests in computer programming and graphic arts. Much of my programming and art remain scripture-related.
