I describe myself as a "software craftsman" after reading Pete McBreen's iconic book "Software Craftsmanship". I am also one who believes that what software engineers do is a craft.

I've been a part of the software industry for about 11 years. In the last five years of my career, I have worked in e-commerce domains with high traffic, scalable, resilient, and robust distributed systems.

I believe that software engineering is not only about scaling the code but also about scaling the product.

I stated "how software engineers enable a product-first approach in their code-first intentions" in my first book, "The Product Minded Software Engineering".
