SINOPSIS

María (Ingrid García-Jonsson) es una joven bailarina con un fuerte anhelo de libertad en la España de los años 70. La época, marcada por la censura propia de la dictadura, sobre todo en la televisión, dificulta que María cumpla su sueño. Sin embargo, ella luchará hasta conseguirlo.

Tras dejar plantado a su novio en el altar, viaja hasta Madrid para encontrarse a sí misma y luchar por su sueño de ser bailarina. Junto con su buena amiga Amparo (Verónica Echegui) conseguirá hacerse un hueco en la televisión y llega a formar parte del grupo de danza del programa más exitoso de ese momento: Las noches de Rosa. Allí encontrará el amor y debido a un gran secreto que éste esconde tendrá que tomar una importante decisión sobre su relación.

Esta cinta, dirigida por Nacho Álvarez, es un musical basado en el universo de las canciones de Rafaella Carrà.
