Dr. David K. Barnett is a retired pastor and active Bible scholar for nearly 40 years. He is the author of "Managing By the Book," a series of lectures on Biblical principles of business and church management. He is the researcher and developer of a number of assessments used in recruiting and training sales and customer service people around the world. For the past decade, he has been teacher of the Granbury Gathering,an interdenominational home and online fellowship. Thousands of people have read his teachings on John from the Granbury Gathering Facebook page. Dr. Barnett received his ministerial doctorate degree from McCormick Seminary at the University of Chicago. He also has a Master's degree in counseling psychology from Ball State University. He lives in north central Texas with his wife, Julie. They have three grown children and six grandchildren.
