TwinMotion - Quick Start
TwinMotion - Quick Start
TwinMotion is real time 3D rendering application based on Unreal Engine
About the Book
TwinMotion is real time 3D rendering application based on Unreal Engine.
Rendering means that it creates realistic image from your 3D model by applying: materials, textures, lighting, weather.
Real time means that all the changes are immediately visible and you can freely walk around and view the scene from different angles.
TwinMotion is mainly used for architectural visualization. First you need to create 3D model of your house in some other program like: sketch up, Revit, AutoCAD. There you build your floors, walls, rooms, doors and windows without any textures, colors or lighting (just pure dimensions). Then you import this 3D model into TwinMotion and make it look real. All this is needed because TwinMotion lacks any support for precision design: no grids, guides, snapping, measures. TwinMotion is simple to use unlike similar rendering engines. Also Unreal Engine, on which TwinMotion is based, can do much more but it is also much more complicated.
