About the Book
This short piece is not just about a single shower incident; it details a series of events that occurred over an extended period of time and exposed a serious problem in the dormitory that needed to be contended with. We had a “peeper,” a resident voyeur who would sneak into the female bathrooms in order to watch women take showers. It had been going on for two full years but nothing was being done about it – then it happened to me. I made phone calls, set appointments to meet with different people, and wrote letters to those in authority. After several months, I took the matter all the way up to the president of the college.
The pervert was kicked out in just 3 days.
