About the Book
These are my journal entries of 1994. I had a hard time getting settled here in the city. My biggest struggle was finding housing, because I couldn’t afford anything. The cost of living in New York City is absolutely astronomical. 💲 💲 💲 That was my first lesson of life inside the Big Apple. 🍎
Many were the hard knocks and life lessons that were learned during this period. It was a pretty rough and tumble time of my life, and I definitely would not want to repeat or relive it. Some things, such as these, are best left in the past. For all the struggles, hardships, and difficulties that I was having, I did not think that I would last but a year there. Alas, I lived in New York City 🗽 for 15 years. 💖
