About the Book
The Jet Trilogy starts with the main character Sirk Notaani embarking on a voluntary one-off mission to visit another planet, that allegedly supports humanoid life. Crash-landing on arrival he has to battle with fearsome 3 metre long beetles, after which he finds a settlement inhabited by dwarfed human life. Discovering he is in Scotland, as far as he is aware, they are the only race to survive the holocaust, created by the UWF and Cathan hostilities. Finding artefacts from his own time, in a strange and vast museum, confirms his suspicions, and Sirk discovers he is over 100,000 years in the future, on his own planet! Realising he’s been duped, he finds a way to repair his ship, The Diamond Dart, and return home. Determined to take revenge on those responsible, and hopefully save the world from pending disaster, he faces The World Council, but they are not in a mood to listen. Jeered at by members of the auditorium, after his final plea fails, Sirk makes a snap decision that will change his, and the lives of those he loves, forever!
