This guide provides fretboard diagrams on Drop C tuning for the following scales, based on each of the twelve notes of the:

• Major Scale
• Natural Minor Scale
• Harmonic Minor Scale
• Major Pentatonic Scale
• Minor Pentatonic Scale

Each of the seven-note scales lists the notes within it, the chords that are made from those notes, a 24-frets fretboard, and the notes of each diatonic chord. Note: For the scales that have the same number of alterations (six sharps or six flats), both enharmonic scales are provided; otherwise, only the scale with less alterations is provided.

For the pentatonic scales the chords are omitted, as five-note scales are more versatile in the chord construction. This guide provides no music theory, just the diagrams with the notes within the scale, so you can glance at the fretboard while improvising or composing new music.

Podría decirse que soy un veterano en LaTeX. Corría el año 2012 cuando tuve mi primer enfrentamiento con esta herramienta, al tratar de obtener un elusivo título de Ingeniería en Mecatrónica, cosa que conseguí, para jurar no volver a pasar por lo mismo...

Hasta dos años después, cuando tuve que redactar mi tesis para otro título, ahora relativo a la Maestría en Ciencias en Ingeniería Eléctrica. No obstante, en este grado las tesis no vienen solas, sino que tienen que ser acompañadas de varios artículos (cosa que, sorpresa, se realiza en LaTeX).

Y, bueno, las secuelas de esos eventos traumáticos me empujaron hacia una vida como autor técnico, en aras de lograr que las nuevas generaciones se puedan salvar del cruel destino de usar LaTeX desde cero, en la oscuridad...
