This course is for everyone. People completely new to agile looking for a quick overview and teams who have been doing it for a while looking for a refresher on the basics.
We've also structured it to be something you can do in a single sitting of 1 hour, or over a week watching only a few minutes at a time. We've included exercises you can do to deepen your learning.
What You'll Learn
In this course, you will:
- Learn about the agile manifesto and what agile means
- Understand how Scrum relates to agile and other frameworks and practices
- Know that the Scrum framework is comprised of 3 roles and 5 meetings
- Be able to identify key responsibilities of the 3 Scrum roles: Product Owner, Scrum Master and Team
- Understand the key purpose of each of the Scrum meetings (Backlog grooming/refinement, Sprint Planning, Daily Scrum, Sprint Review and Sprint Retrospective)
- Know common mistakes teams make when implementing Scrum, and our key coaching tips to avoid these
