As I embark on the 5:2, intermittent fasting diet I wonder if I will succeed?

So many questions and no answers yet but my diary will reveal what happens next on my 5:2, intermittent fasting diet.

I am a keen diary writer and decided to share my experience of this new intermittent fasting diet with you.
I reached 50 in 2012 and finally found the courage to share my writing. I write a diary about my empty nest and mid-life experiences and I also write poems, positive affirmations and meditations.
I live in South West France with my husband and two children. I was born in Southern England and moved to France in 2004 with my family to have an adventure and to have time to be more creative.
