This book introduces and explains counterstrategies, a set of other ways to win, in games like Blackout , Battle Royale, Resurgence Island, Resurgence, and many others. The common game type is what I describe as Last Team Standing (along Activision 's interpretation as well as others). You start in a collapsing ground envelope, you are dropped into a confined space, and you must find resources like weapons and cash to assist your team. You can tell it's an artificial game type because it violates all the maxims, lessons and, and processes of armies. You'd never drop into a battlefield without long range weapons like assault rifles . You wouldn't drop in without full mags. You'd never go with just three or four people. And you'd never start a mission without a plan. It's all artificial and unrealistic.
