Glen Gilchrist is a subject team leader, external examiner, school governor and advisor to the Welsh Government.  He is a  passionately believes in the use of data in schools to drive improvement.  During his tenure as subject team leader for Science, his department was classified as "one of the most improved" Science departments in Wales, where the GCSE attainment moved from the bottom to top quartile.

He is a regular blogger at www.glengilchrist.co.uk and his book - Beyond The Mean (ISBN 978-1471611469) explains to a non mathematical audience how to use data analysis to drive real improvement.
