Tom an internationally recognized author, speaker, system administrator, and DevOps advocate. He has worked at companies such as Stack Overflow, Google, Bell Labs, Lucent, and AT&T. His books include Time Management for System Administrators (O'Reilly), The Practice of System and Network Administration (3rd edition) and The Practice of Cloud System Administration. He has received awards recognizing his contributions to both LGBT activism, bisexual activism, and his service in the IT community.
