New England Patriots vs Kansas City Chiefs, (Live'Stream)'<√Live>
The Chiefs and Patriots will face off on Monday, and both these teams are in a very unfamiliar situation. Positive COVID-19 tests for both Patriots starting quarterback Cam Newton and Chiefs practice squad quarterback Jordan Ta'amu derailed this matchup and forced a postponement after it was originally set to kick off on Sunday. But the road has been cleared for this game to press on, and additional testing has shown no more positive tests for either team. That said, we'll still be holding our breath essentially until kickoff as both clubs will be tested once again on Monday morning.

Jim Nantz, Tony Romo, and Tracy Wolfson will be on the call for the NFL on CBS special (7:05 p.m. ET).
In the first half of a rare NFL Monday night double bill, the Kansas City Chiefs will play host to the New England Patriots at Arrowhead Stadium in a game that was postponed after both teams returned positive COVID-19 tests on Saturday.
Patriots quarterback Cam Newton will miss the contest after testing positive for COVID-19 and being placed on the reserve list. Chiefs practice-squad quarterback Jordan Ta'amu also tested positive, according to multiple reports. All subsequent tests for both teams' players and personnel, however, have been negative, per multiple reports.
After Cam Newton's positive COVID-19 test caused Sunday's Kansas City-New England game to be postponed, Patrick Mahomes and the Chiefs will host the Patriots on Monday, Oct. 5 in a matchup featuring two of the best teams in the AFC.
Mahomes was named the AFC Offensive Player of the Week on Wednesday, marking his fourth career Player of the Week award, and is coming off a dominant performance against the Ravens in which he completed 31 of his 42 pass attempts for 385 yards and had five total touchdowns.
