Jon Jorgensen
Jon Jorgensen is the President of Needle Hop, Inc., an Accredited Kanban Trainer, Enterprise Scrum Trainer, Open Space Agility Trainer, Scaled Agile Program Consultant, Project Management Professional, PMI-ACP, and Certified Professional Facilitator, among other certifications and working roles.
He has more than 25 years experience working in projects and operations, across various industries ranging from heavy industry, and software development to financial services. Bilingual in Japanese, he has designed and led the development of products, process and training for companies of all shapes and sizes, while living in North America and Japan for many years. Jon has unbounded energy for continuous or disruptive improvement.
Jon is an Organizer of Audacious Agile Conversations Meetup Group, the Lean Kanban, Agile & Self-Organization Meetup Group, Agile Open San Diego, Agile Open Arizona as well as Agile Coach Camp US West. He is a contributor to the book Agile Coaching: Wisdom from Practitioners and is listed on the Real Agile Thought Leader Hall of Fame. Jon has co-created a framework for corporate executives to apply Scrum at the top level of their organization called Leadership Scrum. His favorite thing to do is meet new people, listen to their story, ask questions worth wondering about, and co-learn in small groups. Jon has found that regardless of title, work site or schooling, people consistently achieve great things whenever their environment aligns for it.
