About the Book
This book takes you, the reader, through the jungle of types. We will investigate various type constructions and see how they look in different programming languages. You will learn the type-lingo and be able to sound super smart whe talking about programming.
This book is not a formal introduction. This means that you will no have to read pages up and down of weird unusual syntax, get stomach aches for not understandig anything, or having to pronounce Greek letters.
What we instead do, is to discuss the things in plain english. We will look at programming languages you already know, and see where these type constructions occur. When you have a solid understanding of the type constructions, we will see how learning new languages will become much faster.
