It's inevitable that our companies will evolve and change as we strive to build a successful long-lasting company. Many sprint into hypergrowth with a focus on hiring. Some get to a point where they need to shift and undergo tectonic change, reorganization, and layoffs. We are asked to "move on" and "look towards the future". And we must, but it isn't always easy or instant for the leaders nor for the people on the ground doing the work who may in fact need more "time to adapt."
