About the Book
"The Vagabond" is the prologue to the trilogy "Beyond the End." It follows Joanna, a young child in 1980's post-apocalypse CA, USA. She is fourteen and in the protection of her father, Don. The two have journeyed her whole life. Now they arrive in the town of Oxnard, Ca. and are at rest due to lack of information. Eight months has passed, and encroaching Mongrels has forced the pair to act early. The iron is hot, and they must strike quickly or die with the stragglers. Follow the adventure of Joanna as she evolves into the fierce warrior that leads a new exodus to the world's last hope.
