About the Book
This is a noble book I composed after my small book entitled "Illuminating the Bride in the Secrets of
Coitus." The latter was seen by the minister of our master Abd al-Aziz, the ruler of protected Tunis by
Allah. He was the chief minister, poet, companion, confidant, and secret keeper of the ruler. The minister
was wise, astute, clever, and the wisest of his time, most knowledgeable in affairs. His name was
Muhammad Awna al-Zawawi, originally from Zawawa, and he was associated with Algeria, where he met
our master Sultan Abd al-Aziz al-Hafsi during his conquest of Algeria, after which he accompanied him to
Tunis and made him his chief minister.When the mentioned book reached him, he sent for me to meet
him, insisting strongly on it. I came to him quickly, and he honored me greatly.
