About the Book
"You organised the whole thing? You arranged for your niece to marry my fiancé" Astounded, she tried to tug herself free from the grasp of his encircling arms as he guided her round the dance floor but she knew that this would be impossible without causing a scene and that was something she had been tying to avoid ever since the nightmare had begun.Looking back over those terrible weeks, it seemed that this monster had been treating her as some kind of prey, circling round her time and again, getting closer and closer, his unnerving pale grey eyes on her every time she had turned to look. He was like some great, lithe animal, all rippling muscle and concentrated purpose until now, at the end of the hunt, here she was, finally caught, held in his claws like some helpless gazelle, half frightened and half spellbound as he played with her body before putting her out of her misery. She tried desperately to collect her thoughts but couldn't. As he led her firmly round the floor under the glittering lights she tried to think back and work out how it had all happened, how so many of the certainties of her young life had been suddenly shattered and everywhere she looked there was Rick Farrow, circling, circling. She realised that he was still talking to her, "You still don't you understand do you? I've been in love with you for a year now and I could hardly marry you if you married Paul Fletcher first now could I? I'm not a bigamist. However, I do mean to marry you and I am a man who is quite used to getting his own way"."I don't understand", she realised that she shaking with anger.
About the Author
I hail from Hampstead in London Town in the UK. I have been here all my life and went to schools in the neighbourhood. Nothing very special happened to me here. I went on College to read English and really had a ball there.
I now have a job in a travel agent which means I see lots of people going off to the ends of the earth while I stay here at my desk. You have no idea how that sets your imagination working. Overtime. I can imagine what I don't do.
I'm just 24. My parents can't imagine why I don't get married and have children but then it would all be over as I am not the kind to have affairs after marriage. Or I don't think I am. So I imagine all these fabulous women who I wouldn't at all mind being myself and put them in stories and see what happens. I hope you like the results as much as I do creating them.
