About the Book
The Climate Apology is a powerful tool in assisting us to reconcile our fears of climate breakdown and the uncertainties it threatens with the excuses we make to avoid doing what we can as citizens, consumers, professionals and loved ones. It is based on the proven effectiveness of acknowledging actions that have caused harm, however inadvertently, and for taking steps to make amends and demonstrate commitment to healing and reparation. It draws on extensive research on climate behavioural psychology, theories of systems and internal family systems thinking, and ancient philosophies to ensure meaningful dialogues and actions can be undertaken by individuals and collectively so that together we can say we've got this.
