About the Book
Autism is a type of disorder in both children and adults that tampers with their brains and makes them less receptive to people around them. Autistic people are very intelligent or witty when they desire to. Otherwise, they can lock themselves up and won’t open up to people.
In this story, Gabriella battled with autism all her life. She became complacent with her health scheme, thinking it was a way of life. She couldn’t see anything wrong with her words, mannerism, and approach. She was stuck in her world.
Though she was bundled up with drugs, she developed a lackadaisical attitude about it all. Her peers were also a problem from her view. She hated their laughter, tones, and jaded personalities. They were the problem and not her, she’d think to herself.
There was also nothing like loneliness in her world. She kept pace with her empty room and extended the same chilled personality to her parents. In all these, her parents tried to be strong and supportive. They were at a loss at her continuous mood swings. They tried various things to make her more receptive but it seemed that all fell short.
Find out more on how Gabriella and her parents blended into the scars that Autism left behind in this book. This is a novel with great insights. More so, it brings an outstanding and irrepressible faith to every individual who is directly or indirectly involved in Autism...
