About the Book
Study of Systems Thinking and Cybernetics helps understanding how mental models form and what influence that can have on how we perceive change, how we initiate it (badly most of the time) and what we can do about it.
The book will explain the principles behind successful change management in 4 steps:
- Why our mental model is what it currently is and how that influences our perception of change (whether imposing or being imposed change)
- Why our first step is naturally the wrong one and how we can't do another one without deliberately thinking about it
- What good principles ought to be to lead and manage change
- What are some good approaches and method to lead and manage change... in a respectful way!
As a bonus, I intend to provide a kind of “Respectful Change Maturity Model” similar to what CMM proposes (Capability Maturity Model).
