About the Book
Digital Sustainability: From Principles to Practice is a field guide for anyone who designs, builds, or manages information technology.
Split into three parts, it first grounds you in the essentials: defining sustainability, introducing systems‑ and critical‑thinking tools, and mapping today’s environmental and social impact of IT.
Next, it turns theory into action with hands‑on chapters on green‑minded design, carbon‑smart coding, low‑impact infrastructure, and humane user experience.
Finally, it zooms out to examine ideas such as digital degrowth and hands the baton to you, the practitioner, with checklists and best‑practice templates in the appendix.
Read it to understand the stakes, master the methods, and bring genuinely sustainable decisions into every digital project you touch.
