About the Book
Strength Speaks is a collection of fifteen interviews with some of the best strength athletes in the United States. The interviews delve into everything from how these athletes trained as beginners, to the mental skills they have used to achieve success, to the universally applicable lessons they have learned in the pursuit of strength, to the philosophical and existential aspects of training. It is the perfect read for the inquisitive, thinking lifter, regardless of where he or she is in the Iron journey.
About the Author
Michael Chernin is a lifter with a writing problem. He has been a gym rat at Los Campeones Gym for the past decade. His best lifts are a 283 kg (625 lb) squat, a 200 kg (440 lb) bench, a 333 kg (735 lb) deadlift, and a 138 kg (305 lb) press. He works as a physical therapist, dabbles in coaching, plays awful chess, and enjoys everything to do with the strength sports.
