The book consists of several chapters all covering a different part of Spring Boot or deployment options. Each chapter will contain multiple sections which are written in a tutorial (or how-to) style and meanwhile will explain what Spring Boot does and how it helps you writing your application.
The book explores CLI applications, web based applications and the management of those application. It will also look at different deployment options (executable jar or war, deploying to a application server or deploying to Cloud Foundry).
Note: If other Spring projects are used the book will not cover those in depth. It might do a small recap of the framework and its use but that stops at that. For most Spring projects there are excellent other resources out there.
