About the Book

Aelhar is a ranger for the Vearney Woods region, tasked with protecting its inhabitants from possible threats. He is called upon when reports start to come in from the outlying farmsteads of livestock being slain by unknown creatures.

Aelhar sets out on his mission to investigate the source of these attacks. He begins to search for clues that will lead him to the perpetrators. He discovers that strange tracks have been left at each of the farmsteads, as well as evidence that someone has been making attempts to cover up the tracks and any other signs.

He soon realizes that these are not ordinary beasts causing havoc, but supernatural beings with a clear goal in mind: The creatures are seeking something hidden within Vearney Woods.

Aelhar must now find a way to uncover what these creatures are looking for and stop them before they can carry out their mission.

I am an educator and an aspiring author. I love what I do as a special education teacher and connecting with my students. 

I've been trying to write my stories since 2002. It's been difficult culling out time for writing as a full-time mom, full-time wife, and full-time teacher. I came across a book in Barnes & Noble titled "The Writer's Guide to Wattpad".

After reading some chapters, I took the plunge and post my work on Wattpad and see what unfolds.

So, here I am with my first installment "Shadow of the Gryphon".
