About the Author
Doug Wright taught himself how to program from the myriad of tools and resources available on the world wide web. Like many programmers today, he fell in love with the expressiveness and simplicity of the Ruby language. After realizing there were no children's books about Ruby, he decided to write one himself. Currently he works as a software engineer at CommitChange, a company that provides software solutions for nonprofits.
