About the Book
This is a modification of the original written work of Rover Boys on the Great Lakes. Intention: to remove racist stereotypes and update outdated terminology. All dialogue spoken by black characters has been revised to make it readable. Older words have been updated to their current counterparts or removed if the designation is unnecessary. Some dialogue is revised for clarity and ease of reading; a few words have been corrected for current spelling or usage. All other sentence structures and the storyline remain intact.
