About the Book
Swami Purnananda’s Reflections are destined to delight generations of those who seek to make sense of the world in which they live and to take sense from that same world in which we all live. The Reflections are unashamedly spiritual and yet do not, in any way, shy away from the material. We are challenged, through the arresting phrase: God’s visitor centre as your hub … in one Reflection to see life on earth as something akin to the contemporary city break, which so many enjoyed worldwide before the COVID-19 pandemic closed down international travel and forced us all to seek assurance and stimulus in the local. Such a perspective catapults us into viewing our life on earth as a brief sojourn with the teacher’s words held in faith. In many respects, such a vignette is the key to understanding this volume. Anyone may bring his or her own perspective to the observation and acuity of someone whose life is prayer and whose prayer is grace.
