About the Book
This mini-book is for Agile and Lean practitioners interested in experimenting simple ways to track time and impediments directly on index cards, and making cumulative measures without the need to use others tools but board and index cards, so there will be less or no need to use a spreadsheet or automated tools to generate charts to have a global view.
The core of the tool is an analogical representation system, the "prisoner's checkmarks" (symbols like '/'), to show the age of the cards and the impediments. In manipulating and reordering the cards on the board you can see global measures, generate insights and facilitate focused conversations (at a card level or at at a global level).
So you can switch from the detail of the card to a global view, still sticking to the physical tool of the task-board and index cards.
