About the Book
This is the first of many more to come! Welcome to a new series of e-books designed to provide concise, focused guides on specific topics or challenges in Android development. These e-books are created to solve the common problems I frequently observe and answer the questions that often arise from conversations with Android developers around me.
The idea for this series started with a particular experience. One day, a friend asked for help with an issue related to state management in his application. Before jumping into the code, I asked him a few questions: “Why does the state get lost on a configuration change?
Why is ViewModel the solution, and is it the only solution? Are configuration changes the only thing we need to handle to keep our app’s state from being lost?”. His puzzled expression sparked the idea for this series.
Each e-book will be inspired by conversations like this one. I will start from what I believe most developers already know and build on that foundation. The goal is to provide clarity, actionable advice, and insights that help bridge the gap between “getting it done” and truly understanding how and why things work.
So, welcome to my Android knowledge restaurant, where each e-book is a hot and ready dish tailored to satisfy your development cravings.
