About the Author
Matthew Williams is a Developer, Infrastructure Specialist, Weaver, and Parent who lives in Columbus, Ohio.
He’s been working with computer’s since 1980 (but didn’t start getting paid until 1989) and has worked with a great number of technologies in a variety of roles- from A (Analyst) to D (Developer) to U (Unix Sys Admin). He wanted to be a Renaissance Man when he was younger and has tried as much as is possible in IT to be a generalist. Since 2005 he has worked in Infrastructure, Java/JEE Best Practices and Ruby development.
In previous incarnations he has been, among other things, a Java instructor for Sun, a Kitchen Bard, and King of the May.
