About the Book
Next Stage Teams is a story-driven, human-centered guide for teams who believe there’s more possible, not just in what they deliver but in how they grow, relate, and evolve together.
Through the lens of the fictional FutureWorks team, this book explores the everyday challenges that real teams face: tension that goes unnamed, decisions that stall, feedback that never lands, purpose that fades. But it doesn’t offer a silver bullet. It offers something better: principles, structures, and small experiments that help teams show up differently.
You’ll explore topics like psychological safety, shared purpose, peer feedback, decision-making clarity, and integral perspectives, all through a blend of practical insight and narrative reflection.
Whether you're a team lead, coach, or curious contributor, this book is not a manual. It’s a companion. Because the future of work isn’t just coming. It’s already here. And how we show up in our teams will shape it, for better or for worse. We hope this book helps you shape it for the better.
