About the Book
About This Book
"Yes, I Am Neurodivergent" is more than a book; it's a declaration, a journey, and a call to embrace the unique experiences of neurodivergent individuals. This book explores the deeply personal and collective aspects of being neurodivergent, focusing on topics like emotional coregulation, the challenges of navigating systems designed for neurotypical individuals, and the immense potential of embracing our differences.
As a neurodivergent author, I wrote this book to reflect my own experiences and the stories of many others who walk this path. It’s for individuals, families, and communities who seek understanding, validation, and tools to thrive.
Why This Book Matters
This book is a labor of love and hope. All proceeds from its sales will go directly to the creation and development of Acción Neurodivergente, a foundation committed to supporting neurodivergent individuals, particularly in the STEAM workforce (Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Mathematics).
In STEAM environments, the percentage of neurodivergent individuals is no longer anecdotal—it’s significant. However, workplaces often lack the networks and structures needed to support these professionals. Acción Neurodivergente seeks to change that, creating a sustainable network for the years to come that ensures neurodivergent professionals in STEAM can thrive, innovate, and lead.
By purchasing this book, you’re not just supporting an author—you’re contributing to a movement for inclusion, equity, and empowerment in one of the most dynamic and impactful sectors.
This book is a work in progress, just like the journey of understanding and embracing neurodivergence. By purchasing now, you'll not only gain early access to evolving chapters, but you'll also support the development of the Acción Neurodivergente foundation, dedicated to creating sustainable networks for neurodivergent individuals in STEAM careers.
