About the Book
Here is the story of Keysmag.net, my product bootstrapped from my sofa (I do not own a garage).
From the identification of a problem to the first Euros arriving in my pocket, you will know all about the life of this small "side project" stuffed with funny Lean Startup experiments. These experiments allowed me to validate some assumptions I formulated or observations I collected through users' interviews.
I will also tell you how I changed into a "maker" thanks to the Fablab and how it helped me build a prototype of my product.
Several Lean Startup techniques (Lean Canvas, MVP, Customer Development, Lean Analytics, A/B Testing) are explained in the book, since I describe them pragmatically by telling how they are used in my project.
This story was told in the 2014 Agile Tour in Montpellier, Toulouse and Bordeaux, at Lean Kanban France 2014 and at a "Lean Startup & Effectuation" meetup in the premises of the French startup Blablacar.
Telling this story was such a success during these presentations that it even inspired some people to jump into entrepreuneurship. The whole story is now available in this book.
Bonus for you, this book contains additional anecdotes that were not revealed during those presentations.
