David Gwartney has more than 25 years of experience creating software for a wide variety of domains including: air traffic control simulation, paper machine monitoring, computer systems management, web analytics, and data center automation.

David Gwartney is a native california where he obtained at degree in Aerospace Enginering from San Jose University. He resides in Almaden Valley, a suburb of San Jose, with his wife, two teenagers, and their dog.

He currently works at BMC as Senior Software Consultant on the TrueSight SaaS productline. Outside of work he plays in a Classic Rock band, made up other fathers resident in Almaden Valley.
